Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD) are disorders that scar the lungs
and lead to symptoms of breathlessness and cough.

About

Interstitial lung diseases (ILD) are a group of disorders characterised by progressive scarring of lung tissue. This impairs the ability of the lungs to take up oxygen and leads to symptoms of breathlessness and cough. The KBILD questionnaire will help you and your healthcare professional measure the impact your ILD is having on your wellbeing and daily life. This can be used to monitor your condition and assess how well your treatment is working. The KBILD is a brief 15 item questionnaire and is validated, published and used in 24 countries1. It is intended to be completed regularly with each clinic visit or at home but you can complete it more frequently (for example every 3 months).
